Christian Hauge works on the areas of shipping and offshore, with emphasis on litigation and dispute resolution.

Because of his previous experience with mergers and acquisitions, and trade and industry, he covers a wide range of business law, including company law, contract law and administrative law. He is also used as an arbitrator.

  • In Oslo District Court's judgement of 4 June 2018, the Court found in favour of a Norwegian Owner in a claim for collection of uncalled capital acquired in connection with a restructuring process. Christian litigated the case for the Owner.

  • In an arbitration award from January 2018, a shipping & offshore fund was awarded its claim for guarantee commission following a termination of a term sheet for restructuring of a major Norwegian Offshore Owner. The fund's litigation team was led by Christian.
