Kjersti Trøbråten is Wiersholm's new chair of the board

Kjersti Trøbråten has been a partner since 2007, and is acknowledged as one of Norway's leading experts within securities law and regulatory requirements for insurance and banking.

For several years, our new chair of the board worked for the Norwegian Supervisory Authority, at which she was responsible for the development and interpretation of rules of conduct and framework conditions for investment firms and management companies. She is thus a specialist in securities law and framework conditions for the insurance and banking industries, including requirements for measures to counter money laundering and terror financing.

Furthermore, she has extensive experience from, among other things, business start-ups, on-site inspections, adaption to new frameworks, application and reporting obligations, organisational changes in companies and corporate changes.

-Kjersti Trøbråten is a brilliant lawyer and a highly valued colleague, whom I look forward to working with on the management of Wiersholm. She takes over after Stephan L. Jervell, who has made an exceptional effort for the company during his many years in this role, and I am confident that she will continue his legacy, says Managing Partner, Morten Goller.

-I very much look forward to joining forces with the rest of the board. Wiersholm has had a reliable and good management for many years, and we will work together to ensure that this continues in the years to come, Kjersti Trøbråten says about her new role.

She is ranked as one of Norway's most prominent experts on financial regulatory law by Cambers and Partners. She is also ranked as one of Norway's leading lawyers within banking and finance by Legal 500.
