The GDPR and Wiersholm

We consider the GDPR an important and positive step in enhancing privacy protection.

On 20 July, EU's General Data Protection Regulation (the GDPR) and the new Personal Data Act will come into force in Norway. We have taken the necessary steps to ensure that our clients' and business associates' privacy is protected.

Since we principally provide business law advice, we primarily deal with business data. Nevertheless, our services will involve processing of personal data. When you contact Wiersholm, you may rely on us to process your data in accordance with the new privacy rules.

Everyone in our registry has now received our updated Privacy Policy. If you are not a contact person with one of our existing clients, you have also been asked to consent to continue receiving newsletters and event invitations from us. If you are a contact person with one of our existing clients, you will continue to receive our newsletters and event invitations without consenting. You may unsubscribe at any time by clicking on the link included in every email we send. You may also use the link to manage which types of newsletters and invitations you wish to receive.
