Christian Hauge works on the areas of shipping and offshore, with emphasis on litigation and dispute resolution in maritime law, contract law and the law of damages. Because of his previous experience from Wiersholm's departments for mergers and acquisitions, and trade and industry, he covers a wide range of business law, including company law, contract law and administrative law. He is also used as an arbitrator.

  • In Oslo District Court's judgement of January 2015, the Court found in favour of a Norwegian offshore shipping company in a claim for damages for alleged unlawful acquisition and use of ship drawings, among other things. Mr. Hauge litigated the case for the shipping company.
  • In Borgarting Court of Appeal's In Borgarting Court of Appeal's judgement of September 2014, the court found in favour of a Norwegian oil company which was met by a claim for brokerage of USD 5 million. The oil company's litigation team was led by Mr. Hauge.
